On Tuesday 6th March, the founder of Murphy Stays Dr Declan Murphy, was invited to present at the Start Up Awards Northeast 2023 as a #ScaleUp finalist. The #ScaleUp category was open to any company based in the Northeast of England for less than 4 years and a turnover of more than £15,000 per year.
Dr Murphy was tasked with delivering a 2-minute business pitch and answering questions chosen at random by a panel of judges.
Declan discussed the successes of Murphy Stays to date, the challenges, and future plans. The importance of delivering a luxury product, bespoke service and fantastic customers was emphasized by Declan.
